We have moved!
Our office move on Monday went amazingly smoothly! By the end of the day we were fully operational, with all telecons restored – a minor miracle! We are thrilled with our new ‘space’! Come visit when you next pass, and we’ll take you on a Grand Tour!! As we mentioned in our last bulletin, we are much more central, easy to find, and now have dedicated parking. Even in this, our aim is ‘Making Lives Better’.
We are on the move!
After 12 years in our current offices, we are moving! We have found a more central location in Plymouth, and will be moving in on 1st December 2014. Our new address, from that date will be: Ensign House Parkway Court Longbridge Road Plymouth PL6 8LR We will have a new telephone and fax number, and we’ll let you know them when we are told what they are. You may experience some difficulties in communicating with us for a week or so while we wait for our telecoms and internet connections to be installed, but we will let you know how you can contact us in the transitional period. Our new offices look smart, provide us with more space, and higher standard accommodation. In addition to that there is free parking, and we’re easier to find!! Making lives better
Steve ran through our profit potential planning (our PMI system) with two clients last week. One identified profit growth of over 1,000% by implementing small changes to their existing structure. The second client will benefit by a tripling of profits. Working with a local IFA, we have identified over £60,000 of tax savings for a client, who is approaching retirement. Originally, the savings were to accrue over 5 years. Steve identified some modifications that mean the savings are now secured over a 14 month period. Last week Steve attended a meeting in London for a client. John wanted someone there who understood technical tax terms. He was very grateful that Steve was there, who could explain everything that was said at the meeting by other professionals who don’t feel the need to speak in ‘plain English’ to their clients! Andy’s China Fleet Golf team won the Plymouth Area League title again this weekend at Tavistock GC (pictured below….after celebrations….) Our Emily is on holiday for a few days, and a well-earned rest! Brad, our new apprentice, started last week, (check out our ‘Us’ page) and has settled in well. On Wednesday, he gets a pay rise!

HMRC have increased the limit on the amount of debt that can be coded out in a year from £3,000 to £17,000, following consultation. HMRC are issuing incorrect penalty notices for P11Ds. Please get in touch if you receive one.
